WVU Coliseum is a sports and entertainment venue on the West Virginia University campus in Morgantown, West Virginia. It serves as the home of the West Virginia Mountaineers men’s and women’s basketball teams, women’s volleyball team, and men’s wrestling team. The venue opened in 1970 and has also been used to host conference and NCAA Tournament games. Over the years, the coliseum has undergone several renovations to improve the locker rooms, concessions, scoreboard, seating, and other amenities to improve the experience for fans. Outside of VIP courtside seats, court-level sections are the best places to sit during a basketball game at WVU Coliseum. While students take up part of this area, sections C-1 to C-6 and C-12 are available to the public. Section C-3 is located closest to the middle of the court and is arguably the best section in the arena. Sections 108 and 122 also offer excellent views of the entire court and are located near the middle of the court. In the upper level, sections 210-212 and 230-231 offer the best bird’s-eye view of the entire arena.

The arena's concourse has an additional showcase of West, a former West Virginia player who inspired the NBA’s logo.

The concourse at WVU Coliseum is filled with a variety of concession options. One of the best options is the Wild and Wonderful Canteen, where the BBQ pork sliders are the best item on the menu. Classic stadium fare like burgers, hot dogs, and chicken fingers can also be found throughout the coliseum. The Almost Heaven Bistro also offers walking tacos, which are similar to Frito pies and should be tried at least once by visitors.
