Legacy Arena is a sports and entertainment venue in Birmingham, Alabama, that’s part of the larger Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex, which is why it was previously known as BJCC Arena. It opened in 1976 and received extensive renovations in 2021. Legacy Arena currently serves as the home of the Birmingham Squadron of the NBA G League. In the past, it’s hosted multiple minor league hockey teams, an indoor football team, the UAB Blazers college basketball team, and even part of the 2009 Davis Cup tennis tournament. It’s also capable of hosting concerts and theater events. The arena was even selected to host NCAA Tournament games in 2023. For sporting events, Legacy Arena has a capacity of over 17,600 fans, while concerts have a capacity of 19,000 people.

For sporting events, sections 113, 114, 129, and 130 offer the best view, as they are close to the center of the court.
