Located in Sugar Land, Texas, just 20 miles outside of Houston, the Smart Financial Centre is a practically brand-new 6,400-seat indoor performance arena that features cutting-edge technology and design. As the only indoor performance space in the Greater Houston area, it’s been one of the most successful venues ever, become wildly popular, and was attracting major performers immediately after it was built.

History of Smart Financial Centre

Breaking ground in 2014, Smart Financial Centre would open its doors for the first time in 2017. Naming rights for the venue, which is owned by the Sugar Land City Council, were purchased by Smart Financial Credit Union during the construction process. The first performance at the newly-opened indoor arena was a pair of back-to-back comedy specials by none other than Jerry Seinfield on January 14, 2017.
